The climate of Ukraine is mostly moderately continental. The Carpathian Mountains differ from the rest of the Ukrainian territory in the amount of rains. The Dnipro is the main river of the country. The population of our country is about 46 million people.
Ukraine is developed industrial and agricultural country. It’s rich in iron, coal, natural gas, oil, salt and other mineral resources. Due to its climatic conditions, Ukraine is traditionally an agricultural country.
Wheat, corn, vegetables, all kinds of fruit are grown here.
Ukraine offers a long list of places to visit. Among them, there are the Carpathians, where you can see amazing nature, old castles and cathedrals, with their unique culture. If you are interested in history of Ukrainians, you can visit Zaporizhzhia, where the kozaks lived. It is possible to go through Gogol places in the Poltava Region and see
Dickanka. There are also a lot of castles in different parts of the country and a big number of ancient churches. Among the most famous cities are Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odessa, and others .Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine and one of the oldest cities in the Eastern Europe.
